Eric Kapitanski is an undergraduate research assistant in the STEEL cyber-security research group (USC/ISI). He is currently working under Professor Jelena Mirkovic. He holds a BA in political science from UCLA and is currently pursuing computer science and business administration degrees at USC. Eric's research interests broadly span the cyber-security field. He is currently working on the CRITTER project, which seeks to create a publicly accessible repository of up-to-date application-level data. He specifically has written proxy servers and browser extensions to record network traffic for analysis in the project. He has previously done research in mobile application development and robotics.
